Delta D.E.A.R.S. are the heart and soul of the Auburn Alumnae Chapter. These women are recognized and respected for their legacy of knowledge and history for which our chapter stands.
Delta D.E.A.R.S. was conceptualized in 1982 by the Golden Life Committee as a special membership category for all Deltas verified to be 65 years of age or over. The age requirement was later changed to 62 and is the only recognized named age group in the organization. D.E.A.R.S. are acknowledged at the national convention, regional conferences, and within the local chapter.
D.E.A.R.S. is an acronym meaning Dedicated- Energetic- Active- Respected- Sorors. They uphold and promote the ideals and traditions of our illustrious sisterhood to include excellence in service, scholarship, and community engagement.
Delta D.E.A.R.S. meet monthly to uplift and support each other and to plan ways to actively support programs of the National Headquarters and Auburn Alumnae Chapter.
If you are interested in serving in concert with the Delta D.E.A.R.S. of the Auburn Alumnae Chapter, please reach out to Membership at AuburnAlumnae2ndVP@gmail.com.
